Objectives

- Carry out general purpose and fast rescue boats (FRB) operations
- Launch and recover a FRB
- Perform search and recovery
- Tow a survival craft
- Understand helicopter operations and self-rescue
- Use onboard equipment
Target Audience
Personnel required to operate an FRB who do not require an STCW certificate.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for a Proficiency in General Purpose/Rescue Boat Operations training course.
Award
An in-house training provider certificate will be issued upon successful completion of a Proficiency in General Purpose/Rescue Boat Operations training course.
Revalidation
There is no revalidation period for this certificate.
