Summary
Well Intervention Pressure Control training has been developed by the International Well Control Forum (IWCF) for personnel working in roles such as well services supervisor, completions supervisor, service leader, and others with a requirement to hold an IWCF certificate.
The training covers completions operations, completions equipment, wireline, coiled tubing and snubbing.
Delegates will learn the equipment required and the safe control of well pressures during completions and intervention operations.
Objectives
Delegates completing a Level 3 IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control training course will be able to:
- Understand the management of well pressure control during the processes of completion and well intervention
Target Audience
A Level 3 IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control training course is aimed at personnel who are in critical well control positions during well intervention operations.
Level 3 is available for any role expected to shut in a well.
Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for a Level 3 IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control training course, however it is recommended delegates have knowledge at IWCF Well Intervention and Pressure Control Level 2.
Award
An IWCF certificate will be issued upon successful completion of this Level 3 IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control training course.
Revalidation
The certificate must be revalidated every 2 years.
